Location
Roadrunner Golf and Country Club is a Grand senior-living resort in the unspoiled paradise of Borrego Springs…a small village in northeast San Diego County completely surrounded and protected by the amazing 600,000-acre Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, the largest in the state.
California’s “secret” desert is encircled on three sides by majestic mountains and unparalleled outdoor adventures, these stand as visible assurance against overdevelopment…not a stop light in sight! Within a short distance you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and some of the finest off-roading anywhere in Southern California. Spring wildflowers are breathtaking and world-renown. Clear starry nights are the norm allowing Borrego Springs to be designated the only Dark Sky community in CA and only the second in the nation. Borrego is a popular bird watching haven and premier ecotourism destination.
Only 1½ hours from San Diego, Orange County, Palm Springs and Temecula’s wine country makes it a very accessible resort. Borrego Springs is often compared to Palm Springs 75 years ago before urban sprawl took its toll. The village offers visitors every amenity, including fine shopping and dining, everyday necessities, a performing arts center, championship golf, tennis, exceptional art galleries and art shows and elegant spa facilities.
Experience a relaxing atmosphere, rustic landscapes, and authentic beauty. Borrego Springs is a very special place for all seasons. We guarantee it will remain with you long after you return home…
