Tallus, Mammoth’s first private residence club, is situated on approximately eleven acres of land on the eastern side of Mammoth Mountain on the 10th fairway of the Sierra Star Golf Course.  Although the land was approved for the construction of over 100 homes, Eric Fishburn created just 19 and a clubhouse, setting aside the rest of the land as a nature preserve. Each home at Tallus was built with the same premise: to create uncompromising comfort, luxury and convenience in a spectacular mountain setting. This begins with a mix of Western Canadian Red Cedar and West African Mahogany, cut glass and hand-chiseled stone from Jerusalem, combined to create a distinct California Mountain architecture. The home interiors are then fitted with the most modern comforts and technologies, from Viking-outfitted kitchens to digital, big-screen media rooms.

The architectural details are only half the story. The creators of Tallus have ensured that the most pampering services and amenities be an integral part of the community experience. From the clubhouse with a concierge services desk and indoor heated pool and spa, to the private 4-wheel-drive car service, no need or desire goes unfulfilled.
